Even in a city as romantic and beautiful as Paris, the constant hum of traffic and hurried footsteps can start to feel exhausting. Sometimes, the greatest luxury isn’t a view of the Eiffel Tower—it’s a moment of calm. That’s where Paris’s garden restaurants come in. These serene hideaways offer the best of both worlds: delicious cuisine and lush surroundings that make you feel as if you are truly on vacation—even though you’re right in the heart of the city. Here are my top five garden escapes.

Le Jardin Français at Le Bristol │ 112 Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré, 75008
Anyone who has followed me for a while knows I love Le Bristol hotel. Whether meeting a friend for a drink, enjoying a gourmet meal, or splurging on a room, this ultra-luxurious hotel is simply the best. Tucked inside Le Jardin Français restaurant feels like a private Eden in the heart of Paris. Perfectly manicured lawns, blooming flowers, and the quiet murmur of a fountain create a serene backdrop for an absolutely perfect dining experience. Expect refined, seasonal French cuisine and top-tier service—all with the elegance you’d expect from one of the city’s finest palace hotels. Le Jardin Français is ideal for a midday escape. The club sandwich is a lunchtime favorite of mine and, if they have gazpacho on the menu, by all means order it!

Fabula at the Musée Carnavalet │16 Rue des Francs Bourgeois, 75003
A true gem tucked inside the Musée Carnavalet, Fabula transforms the museum’s courtyard into a dreamlike dining space. This pop-up restaurant combines sustainability with haute cuisine. Candlelit tables under centuries-old trees and creative cocktails crafted with foraged herbs give this place a whimsical, almost secret-garden vibe. A must-visit if you’re looking for culinary creativity in a magical Marais setting.

Loulou │107 Rue de Rivoli, 75001
I’ve written about Loulou in the past, but I’m including it here again because it’s one of the chicest garden restaurants in Paris and you can’t beat the location just outside the Musée des Arts décoratifs, in the heart of the Louvre Palace. The terrace is an all-white and enchanting respite from the surrounding activity and – for sure – one the “see” and “be seen” spots in Paris. The Italian-leaning menu is light, fresh, and perfect for sharing, and the views—especially at sunset—are simply unbeatable. Reservations are a must, and the spaghetti al pomodoro is my go-to dish!

Les Petites Mains │Palais Galliera, 10 Avenue Pierre 1er de Serbie, 75016
I always organize my daily Paris agenda to include a morning museum visit followed by a relaxing lunch and open afternoon. That’s when I discovered this hidden gem with a view of the Eiffel Tower. Set in the lush courtyard of the Palais Galliera (Paris’s Fashion Museum), Les Petites Mains is a breath of fresh air—both literally and figuratively. The ambiance is creative and relaxed, with a modern, fashionable crowd and a menu that’s bright, bold, and Mediterranean-inspired. Think grilled octopus, seasonal vegetables, and vibrant sauces—all served under the shade of magnolias and parasols. A favorite for a stylish lunch after touring the latest museum exhibition.

Baccarat Le Jardin │11 Place des États-Unis, 75016
I haven’t actually eaten at Le Jardin, which opened only a couple of weeks ago. But, I’ve dined at the interior Baccarat Le Crystal restaurant many times and loved it every time – the stemware alone makes it worth the experience. One step into the world of Baccarat and you find far more than just glittering chandeliers – the Baccarat museum is such a treat and the dining room is gorgeous. It makes perfect sense that a garden restaurant has been added. that feels worlds away from the bustling 16th arrondissement. The menu, designed by Michelin-starred chef Guy Martin, promises to be a treat. I’m definitely heading there during my upcoming visit!
Whether you’re escaping for a quiet lunch or a dreamy dinner under the stars, these are my favorite garden spots for slowing down and savoring the moment. Each offers a different slice of Paris—whether it’s the haute elegance of Le Bristol or the casual charm of Fabula. What they all share is an appreciation for beauty and joy of dining outdoors.
Bon appétit in the garden!
😊 thank you
Oh how I would love to be there right now!
Me too!
