I’ve dined at the gorgeous Épicure restaurant at Le Bristol Hotel only once, but reading this article has me thinking I should return – for the sumptuous decor, if not the food.

Speaking of Le Bristol, my favorite luxury hotel in Paris is 100 years old this year. My stay at the Bristol Hotel in Paris was absolutely fabulous, with outstanding service where every detail and thoughtful gesture was perfectly executed.

The Musée d’Orsay is home to the exhibition L’art est dans la rue (Street Art), featuring masters of illustrated posters such as Cheret, Toulouse-Lautrec, Bonnard, and others.

If you’re an art and design enthusiast or collector, the PAD Paris is an event you won’t want to miss! Taking place from April 2 to 6 in the Tuileries Garden.

In a referendum last Sunday, Paris residents voted in favor of making an additional 500 streets pedestrian only according to Reuters. The specific streets selected for pedestrianization have not been publicly disclosed – the city plans to consult residents first.

The Louvre is getting a $800 million makeover aimed at better accommodating the overwhelming number of annual tourist visits according to Le Monde. The Mona Lisa is to be moved into its own specially ticketed space.

I try to make the most of commute to work by listening to podcasts and YouTube videos to improve my French. Recently, I’ve been enjoying Violaine and Nathan’s channel, French with Panache, where they discuss current events and culture. I highly recommend it.
