Le Grand Colbert
Because it’s so easy to find a delicious meal in France, I tend to choose restaurants based on décor, ambiance and occasion.
One of my favorite dining spots is Le Grand Colbert in the second arrondissement. Readers may recognize the name, Le Grand Colbert was featured in the film Somethings Gotta Give, starring Diane Keaton and Jack Nicholson. It’s everything it was portrayed to be in the movie – a beautiful restaurant with delicious food and excellent service.

We are arriving October 22 for three nights we have reservations October 22 at the Eiffel Tower restaurant. We have no plans for the 23rd and on the 24th. We are going to Disney Paris. We have both been before from a previous Cruise. Just wondering what essentials we need to visit or where to stay on a budget maybe in an Airbnb not a super budget but we don’t want to spend $800 a night on a hotel there are four of us and we either want to do a two bedroom Airbnb or we could share one hotel room.

I do not recommend an AirBnB for less than five days – there’s usually not a savings for short stays. I highly recommend that you stay in central Paris – the 6th or 7th arrondissement. You can find very nice 3- or 4-star hotels at a reasonable price. Check bookings.com or hotels.com but DON’T book on those sites. You’re better off booking directly on the hotel site. The neighborhood just south of the Musee d’Orsday is wonderful. It seems as if you’re traveling with children, correct?
